Poem

ENDLESS SEARCH

When will man be satisfied?
When will man cease to ask for more?
He kept asking once a need has been met,
An answer to a need gives birth to other needs,
The canticles of needs continues all life,
To seek from cradle to grave.

How noble it would have been if man’s
Need corresponds with his desires,
The quest to amass and to climb up
Leaves man restless and endlessly in search.
What can satisfy man? Is it not a curse on humanity
To seek from cradle to grave.
